Last visit to this sculpture with final additions. Time to let nature take it´s course.
Circle March
It’s up at last. Not finished, more to build onto this enormous circle yet.

Two branches have been fixed to give the sculpture extra support and the circle up from the forest floor.

A relatively small part of the forest has been my place of choice to build a new project over the past year. It was my savior whilst recovering from a couple of operations on my hip and knees. What it is to be of an age when the body says ´ease up Spencer´ and the mind says ´Do what you love, no matter what.´😁

My friendly forest Shaman are hidden down in a location on the ege of a dry river bed. They aren't inherently good or evil, they are moreso neutral, seeking peace in mastering and understanding the elements. It´s fun to imagine these are looking after me and passing on a special energy. I am careful not to rush their making and handle them gently.

Large Oval Structure. An Ellipse
Large Oval Structure. An Ellipse
The location is unique to all other sites I have chosen. The sculpture stands looking out across an expansive area of the forest. It acts like a window and its form suggests the oval shape of a human face.
It was constructed between two small spindly oak trees which help support some of its weight.
Completed in early 2024
